    B.A. UCLA. Master's program  Exercise Science FAU. Doctorate of Physical Therapy Mount Saint Mary's College. Certified in: TRX, Rock Tape, Cupping, Strength & Conditioning  CSCS, USA Cycling level 3 Coach, Yoga Teacher 200 hr RYT. 

15 years experience treating pro athletes in NFL, USAVolleyball, MLS, USA Ski team, US Olympic triathlon, paratriathlon, Pro road & mountain biking. Specialty in Sports Medicine, specifically cycling. Competitive mountain biker, high school mountain bike coach.

My practice : After 15 years working in Sports Medicine, I started DaraSportsPT. What is missing from current insurance based physical therapy is what DaraSportsPT provides:  1 on 1, 60+ minute, high level, private treatments. Patients get better, faster. I specialize in treating complex patients, athletes of all levels, anyone who has plateau'd with prior treatment. My goal is to provide better, faster results.

Who I treat: Olympians, World Record Holders, weekend warriors, 8yr-85 yr olds, anyone seeking guidance and encouragement to be more active. Common injuries I treat: low back pain/sciatica, disc herniations, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, cycling & running injuries, joint arthritis, post-op hip, knees, ankle surgery.

I am an out of network provider for all insurances, I can provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. 

A typical session: 60 minutes, 1 on 1,  typically including hands-on treatment, joint mobilizations, and/or massage, followed by therapeutic exercises or sport specific functional training. I will guide you step by step to create a workout plan that best fits your busy life, health & sports goals.
